You need to check and see if there is a "balloon" payment at the end of the deal and/or of the RRS is yours or reverts. |

Thanks guys, the balloon is 16,250 but I’m not that worried over this as I will probably trade back in after three years (it should be flat or small in the money ¾ through the cycle)

just be carefull of ballon style deals, they are expensive if you plan to walk away!!!, as the dealer already has your first deposit and 4 years payments, and the ballance will always be less than the car is worth, so you are best finding the ballon payment and THEN trade in.

Think it will be worth more after 3 years than £25K - mine was 4 years and 3 months, with 67K miles - and only a lowly 2.7 TDV6 HSE and that was worth nearing £25K - I'd hope the new car would be worth close to 30K after 3 years, def above 30K....

Not with the model cycle in my opinion, LR will release an all new RRS within the next 4 years id bet my house on it. The RRS is in a model run out phase, new engines and a quick facelift to kick start sales.

Looks like you've been offered a decent rate as I've just run the figures through on a standard car at 7.9% APR and it's £140 pcm more (admitadly with a balloon which is £700 less). This means £140x47-£700 = £5880 better off.

Take it from me as an ex-dealer principal (not LR) you should pay cash if you can. If not borrow the cash from a bank. If you take into account the 'cash' discount against the bank interest on the full purchase price you'll still be quids in.
