United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I'm looking at LR approved stock and i've not seen anything for 31k.
As for tinting, there is company not far from me who did my current car and its perfect so i'm sure the RRS would be done to the same high standard.
Anyway, the car i was refering to in this thread has sold Big Cry
The hunt continues........

Nik, I don't think that car is worth more than £31k because there's too many sub 40k miles 2.7s out there on an 08 or 58. But really it's the price to change you need, right? If the £35k RRS gives you more for yours, which I expect they will, then you're all square. What would concern me more is after-market tinting, you need to make sure that is VERY professionally done methinks.

But regards your original question, the weather will affect the price, but perhaps mainly because the dealer will have more ammunition to throw at you. So to combat that I would prepare lots of market data, for example, notes from Autotrader on similar spec vehicles available and their asking prices?

Good luck, sounds exciting! Stornoway is a great colour. Thumbs Up

I was probably a bit pessamistic at £31k... but very near that. And what I meant was the *deal* price not asking price. Sellers should be looking to deal in the context of supply.

The issue with the Land Rover approved site itself is it's not always up to date - use it in combination with AutoTrader, that's my suggestion.

Have you seen this delicious looking approved used TDV6 in Worcestershire? They're asking £35k too but it's a 58 plate, has your options on it, and I bet they would take an offer now the snow's melting!

RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

CAP's black book retail is at £33,450.

And CAP's in my opinion is always on the conservative side of pricing, it's not a bad price if you ask me.

I agree ilard hasn't got a clue what hes talking about ill have 3 if he can find them for that money. Cap is the most accurate over glass's guide however most dealers use glass's guide's to value there cars. Anyhow the market dictates what the cars are worth. Im not biased as i own a SC but it really annoys me when people talk down values which you will never buy one for that money(They all think there dealers when it comes to pricing) Evil or Very Mad

Job done Very Happy
Just bought a two year old RRS 2.7 HSE, stornoway grey with just under 15k on the clock, black leather and 20" wheels. The car already had privacy glass and i managed to get running boards thrown in as part of the deal.
Roll on next weekend Mr. Green

37k which isn't cheap but its just over two years old and immaculate. Plus the trade in for my Audi was very good which made the 'cost to chance' reasonable which in my view is the important thing.
The advertised spec was...
5 Doors, Automatic, 4x4, Diesel, 15,000 miles, Stornoway Grey, Leather, Ebony Black, 20'' alloy wheels, Scintachrome paint, Climate control, Electric windows, Privacy glass, Active Roll Mitigation (ARM), Adaptive cruise control, Adjustable drivers lumbar support, Air suspension, Bi-xenon headlights, Clear view pack, Cold climate pack, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Electric front seats, Electric heated door mirrors, Electronic parking brake, Front fog lamps, Front/rear side/head airbags, Front/rear split differentials, Hi ICE Pack, Leather steering wheel, Leather trimmed gearknob, Park Distance Control - front, Personal telephone integration, Powerfold exterior mirrors, Premium navigation system, Remote audio controls, Remote central locking, Single CD player, Terrain Response system
Plus i managed to be running boards thrown in and its getting tow bar electrics fitted.
Just need to find a cheap detachable tow bar now....

Is all that standard HSE kit?

Nik.
