My first fault has manifested itself on my little beastie, apparently put down to a dodgy compressor. Get a couple of messages pop up, one of them is saying that only normal height is available and the other is that forward alert is not available. Popped it into LPR who were quick at plugging it in and finding the problem, and the first they have come across, so very reassuring? Got an annoying squeak/ rattle from the centre consol so I hope they can sort that as well. It is so ridiculously quiet inside, any little sound is just so annoying, apart from the lovely V8 burble of course!

Unfortuanetly, my little lovely developed a whole new lot of error messages which has meant it has been carted off on a recovery vehicle. I was going ton take a photo of the depressing sight but I thought that I would rather forget about this 'little' incident. Must say though that the whole process is VERY well well done when it comes to recovery and call out, just a pity that all they could find was a FL2 for replacement, not keen om taking clients out in that.... LPR have been VERY good, just hope they can fix chop, chop as planning to to do the Hardknot pass on the weekend, but that won't happen unless I am in my RRS!

Think yourself lucky getting a FL2! I got offered a 1.1 Fiesta and then and X-type Jag!! I had the FL2 for 7 weeks before they gave me a Disco 3 for a few days. Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Well, sounds like they have sorted the problem, I'll find out tomorrow when I speak with the service dudes.

Planned trip oop North now looking a lot more enjoyable, and looking forward to driving the Hardknot pass as well, apparently one of Englands steepest roads with gradients of 1 in 3 and single track as well, perfect RRS territory!

The secondary problems seem to be all sorted, put down to a faulty brake switch of all things. They thought the initial problem was also related to this, but unfortunately had the problem come up again... At least turning the engine on and off, a bit of an RRS re-boot seems to clear it for a while, but looks as though needs another trip to the fix it shop.
