2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

My brother has an Austin Healey 3000M, been totally rebuilt and all that stuff but he's lucky to be able to get 100 miles in one trip without it breaking down - it's a mechanics dream but if you want reliable then an old Healey isn't what you want, even though you would have the RRS as a back-up, you would want a car trailer to recover the Healey! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Looked at V8 Vantage too....the 70's type...

I would love a Lambo, but that's just a fantasy..and not sure I could handle a manual Gallardo.....and reliability scares the crap out me as well as running costs.....

The lambos i.e. Gallardo are reasonably reliable and many specialist in the UK have reasonable pricing for servicing, but word is to stay away from the manual version especially the early models as they were very hungry for clutches...

On the modern cars there is also the beautiful Maserati Granturismo Razz Not personally a fan but what about the Bentley continental GT,

Been and done the Bentley....had a Maser GT for a few weeks nearly 3 years ago.....and didn't get on with it. And Also I want a convertible.....kinda wish my money would go to an R8 Spyder....... Sad

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

with your list and budget, this might seem a bit "down market"! but i have been checking out lotus elise/exige (would love the latter, but open top apealls to me too) just now in readyness for us to get rid of one kid to the big school next year (he can walk then), just now we need 4 seats in wifes car, but by then hopefully the missus can drop one off with ease then i get to play with it at weekends!, just need to persuade her now!
cheers

I will second the Elise call. I've been lucky enough to own a 430 spider two years ago and it was a dream however I spent my life waiting for something pricey to fail. A few thousand pound service to come around or some idiot to damage it. Luckily that idiot was me as i managed to slide it doing under thirty into the back of someone. I took a long hard look at my car priorities and sold the car back to Ferrari. Bought an elise and loved every second of it.
Now I just have a second hand rrs to pleasure me. The joys of a recession.

Pete

Well, discussed this today with my otherbhalf and will either be newish RRS and a Vantage Sportshift...07 ish reg. This will be the most likely option. Or and this will depend if pricesndrop a little, an R8 Spyder in white, either a V10 or V8 if try do it....and I will keep my current RRS or buy an Evoke.......
