2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Izmir Blue

whining noise from

When i set off i can hear a whining noise that gets worse at about 60mph. I put the car in neutral and let of the accelerator but the noise continued. Its seems to be from the middle of the car but its hard to tell. Does anyone have any ideas please.

I have a similar problem that gets really bad about 80mph, but if she sits in the back I dont seem to get the whining as often, as she cant see the speed so well.
