2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Java Black

squeaky steering wheel

hi,

My '07 RRS sc has a squeaky steering wheel. I have done a search on the forum but found nothing. Anyone experienced this? How did you overcome the squeak?!

Just had mine fixed under warranty.

Get the stealer to change the power steering fluid to 'special anti squeak' fluid and your problem is solved!

There is a technical bulletin from LR on the subject. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

It's in with the dealer now, however they say it is not covered under warranty as 'bulletins are not covered', interesting! Will have a word...

Mine was fixed at Guy Salmon LR in Wakefield - under warranty, no questions asked. I was told it is a well known problem sorted by replacing the standard stuff with lubricating power steering fluid.

Maybe give them a call for a chat to get some ammo to use with your stealer. Best of luck with it. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Dealer where i bought mine was doing one when mine whent in for tailgate problem.
Asked him what was wrong he said it was steering wheel cartridge

You want to flush your steering system and add the additive to the PAS fluid all by yourself?
