Out of curiosity, how much were you able to negotiate off the retail price of the car? And what was the reason you didn't end up getting adaptive dynamics? |

I test drove both the V6 3.0 & V8 3.6 and to me they were like chalk and cheese. The TDV8 although on paper does not look to different to the V6 3.0, the seat of the pants test tells a different story. I was not interested in continuing negotiations on the TDV6 after testing the TDV8. Vrrmmm and the sound - oh so nice |

Hi Steve, not sure what retail is but I used discountnewcars.com.au as my starting point and worked down from there. I ended up buying it for less the advertised price on dnc with my options so that gives you some idea. I didn't get adaptive dynamics because I didn't see myself driving the car that hard that it would be of any benefit. If it was always on, like dynamic response then I would have got it but I believe you have to switch to it using the terrain response dial so I did not think I would use it that much - if at all. I could be wrong. Maybe nice for resale but I think a little gimmicky. Saying that I optioned the paddle shift |

That new tow hitch is much better than the old one - sits quite a bit higher! |
