Just noticed both rear tyres are scrubbing the outside edge of the tyre. The rest of the tyre is wearing evenly but the edge 1" or so is nearly smooth. I assume this is an alignment problem. Does it have to be adjusted by my local stealer or can any alignment specialist sort this?

I seem to remember a post on a USA forum about this and some talk of a class action legal claim against Land Rover about tyre wear like this. Try a google search.

My front nearside is wearing unevenly and I suspect the new tyre that has done 1,000 miles will be soon. I am fortunate that my local village garage has a 4 wheel alignment machine linked to a computer.
