Have you checked the balance/fader, not sure if it has presets for each function

Are you using a 3.5mm male to male (headphone-to-AUX jacks) type of patch cord? Those come in mono

Also if the aux cable isn't pushed all the way in at each end you'll only get mono Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+
