I'm trying to decide between either walnut or anigre trim to go with my ebony interior. I was set on the walnut to lighten the interior up a bit, but quite a few people say it looks a bit like cheap laminate flooring more than quality wood. I've found a few pics in the gallery of black/anigre, but can anyone point me in the direction of any black/walnut pics?

You're right, the Walnut just doesn't work for some reason.
I think maybe it's the almost matt finish it has that makes it
seem a bit fake.
I went for the Anigre and am really happy with it. It's high gloss
and very dark. In some lights it is almost black but then when the light
direction / brightness changes you get the grain showing through. Looks

not black, but gives you an idea of the walnut round the stereo, it just dominates that area IMHO!

I accepted the walnut as I could have the Sport straight away, at the time I would have preferred the Anigre. However, it isn't anything like laminate, I quite like it now. Actually I saw a aginre car the other day and thought that wood looked a little plastic. Each to their own.

I think it adds a bit of colour to a Santorini/Ebony car.

Yes, it looks a lot better on your car than on the other earlier pics. Have to say I don't really think any wood suits the RRS's image, it's more at home on the FFRR. you are right of course, everyone has differing tastes , mine was what ordered with what i thought was going to be walnut , when i saw the first batch of 2010 cars coming in with the anigre i asked the dealer to change it to that - something he had done anyway as he thought the walnut was too light/matt!!! and i am glad he did!
