What is the Econ button supposed to do?

If you mean on the climate control, IIRC it doesn't use the air conditioning to do any cooling, but just uses whatever cool air it can get from outside the car or recirculation, thus saving the 2 or 3% difference in fuel ECONomy that using the a/c compressor makes. Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+
