I do like to think of myself as quite a friendly, reasonable person who alway gives everyone a fair chance, but right now... I HATE YOU!!! Wink Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

Nice to have met you this morning Nick, weather was spot on for some nice pics!

Thanks for the cloths, came in handy already as some seagull used the car as target practise...

268 miles today and averaged 28 mpg, can't complain with that.

I think I can safely say you won't find a more cared for and looked after RRS, let alone one that is nearly 3 1/2 years old!!!

Good to have met you too mate - you car is truly to die for...... Thumbs Up

Make sure you get 2 things 1. Autoglym Super Resin Polish (just in case) and 2. some Meguires Rapid Detailer - or even better some DoDo Red Mist Rapid Detailer...and we'll talk about waxes when you get to a point when it will need it...not for a few weeks yet.

Once again, great car mate (have some pics of you on the motorway if you want them) Thumbs Up

Nick - I would be pleased to hear any cleaning tips, already looked up the dodo rapid detailer, whats the format?

Last weekend i used gard x wash & wax, rinse, gard x conserver, rinse and chamois dry. would you do the dodo stuff afterwards? MY10 3.0 HSE Santorini Black, Ivory Premium & extended leather, privacy, paddles, diamond turned alloys, Ipod lead that charges, tasmods, rrsport.co.uk stickers

Jeep 4.0 High Output XJ 94 6" teraflex lift, c/w rear coils, 9500lb winch, 35" TSL super swamper boggers, safari snorkel, custom made bumpers, tom woods custom double cardon driveshaft, twin electric fans. Don't follow it..............you wont make it. The first 4 x 4 by far.

Thanks mate, I am well chuffed with the car! I got some of the Meguires on the way home yesterday as I was impressed at your little demo, and the car just had a fine coating of dust and a quick spray and whizz over with the micro fibre cloth and voilą, lovely shiny car again!

It would be great if you could send the motorway pics, just can't get enough!

Now, will the wife let me out to play today... Confused

JC1.....instead of the chamois, get a drying towel instead - but all this depends on how serious you are about getting your car into a show condition. Also, have you clay'd the car yet? There is much more you can do in order to get on track to a good looking finish. I learned a lot from my master OB1 (npinks) .....and maybe get onto Detailing World - they have video tutorials on there

Hope you can make it to the meet JC1 Thumbs Up
