Simon, there is a service bulletin out on this issue. A dealer fix.

I think it will only be available if you also have a towbar fitted, if that's any help. Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+ Discovery Series II Td5 GS::Discovery 3 TDV6 S::Freelander 2 TD4 XS::Freelander 2 TD4 SE Range Rover Sport TDV6 3.0

That's only what I can remember from glancing at the online manual the other day, so don't take my word for it! I think it helps you hook up to a trailer by directing you when you reverse so you can aim for the hitch, and then when you've got a trailer connected it shows you which way you're going to go when you reverse, hopefully avoiding all those embarrasing jackknife situations at the gymkhana |

had hoped reverse camera would show tow ball so i could rely on my own eyes rather than static MY59 wifey who's only contribution is to shout "stop" then tell me how far off line I am. Alas due to position it dont purple people eater

I too have the reversing camera fault. Indeed the picture is reversed! The yellow guidelines have gone too.

I suggest driving to your dealer and reversing right through the plate glass showroom window and then apologising saying you got confused because the camera picture was reversed. If a few of you do this then the dealers might start pressurising LR for a quick fix |
