Going, going, gone.....

Yep - it's going! I discovered (with the help of a local bodyshop) that the RRS has had a new offside front wing, new drivers door skin, and resprayed rear quarter panel and bumper corner. That confirmed my original suspicions regarding the drivers door I posted a while ago but I never expected that extent of repair.

Quick report from the body shop, nice chat with the Audi dealer I bought it from in December and Ive a full credit towards another RRS! Thankfully I bought the car with a full 12 months Audi used car warranty and the dealership were superb. I guess they never knew either from the usual cursory examination most cars seem to get when traded in and to be fair it was a pretty good repair!

Looking at the T & Cs from the part ex they must have a good case to go back to the guy who sold it to them but never advised them of the repairs.

A result - but a close shave and now I'm just waiting for them to source me another TDV8. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

The Audi dealer is part of Guy Salmon LR so shouldn't be too long hopefully.

I am stuck with this dealer unfortunately, as I have seen a couple of belters in other LR dealerships.

I am just so pleased that i bought the car from a reputable dealer, with a decet warranty and not privately. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Good for the dealer sorting it out

I wonder how a LR dealer would have handled it, as an approved used car, and what terms say for accident damage etc

I know insurance companys say, they are repaired back to the same standard as new, therfore you can't claim depreciation due to the accident..... even though you and I wouldn't pay the same knowingly for a repaired car

If you have found your ideal car elsewhere, you are not limited to Group stock from GS. They will undoubtably do a deal with somebody out of group to keep you pleased.....if you catch my drift.
