Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey
Bluetooth Static discharge

Finally took delivery of my MY07 TDV6 HSE> First drive was Aberdeen to Edinburgh and a dream except for.......

Using the bluetooth connection seemed ok until all of a sudden I thoought I had been hit by a stone as the was an almighty crack, then another and another and on and on.

Best description was like a static electricity discharge. Tried the call again and got the same result (mobile to mobile). Phoned the office (mobile to landline) and the same thing happened.

Got to Edinburgh Stratstones and Andy came out to try and replicate the issue in the car park - Dentist syndrome it went away!! Agreed to monitor and carried onto the hotel, made another call clear as a bell Confused

Has anyone else suffered this?

Many thanks Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I have 2 iPhones my new 3GS does not behave as you have described but my old first version one does, i find it intermittent but if you turn the volume down on the iPhone itself it does seem to help

South Africa 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

I also sometimes get a static like sound / crack (usually when a call is initiated). I'm using a iPhone 3Gs in a MY2010. I never experienced this with the same telephone in my MY2007 RRS. 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C)
