In September I went to look at a couple of used Aston Martin V8 Vantages at the "local" dealership. Today I received an invite to go to Murray Motors in Edinburgh (the only Aston outlet in Scotland) to have a few minutes "previewing" the new Rapide sometime between 22nd Feb and 24th Feb.

If anybody else wants to go and look you don't need an invite, just phone Murray Motors Aston Martin on 01314422800 and make an appointment............................ they must be expecting loads of wheelkickers as I see that the same invite is also published in the InGear section of the Sunday Times Scottish edition too. I think it's a bit out of my league so I have sent my RSVP back saying thanks but....................... I'm doing something else that weekend!

If they were offering a free weekend of use then I would be at the front of the queue and would cancel everthing I have that weekend!

The invite says that this event is not open to general public and is exclusive to the invitees (which I myself doubt) but ayny way. As I am free to take along a family friend and I myself am not planing to buy a approved used LR, any one looking to buy a cheaper approved used LR is more then welcome to use my invitation
