Spread betting?

Anyone here dabble in spread betting on shares / indices/ forex etc?

If so, can you recommend any good books or websites and is it viable as a career, lol.

i gave it a bash to offset against my real life portfolio, worked to an extent used to use CMC Markets , ull see their advert on bloomberg if you watch it for more than 25 seconds

I do a fair amount of spread betting and buying/selling shares.

A good brief introduction is Naked Trader by Robbie Burns but it mainly focuses on investments rather than spread betting but I have heard he is writing a book dedicated to spread betting. Another very good and more comprehensive book is Welcome to my Trading Room by Dr Alexander Elder ... a must read for anybody thinking about taking the plunge !

A viable career ?? Definately can be but not as easy as you might think ... I'm still working on it !
