thanks for your replies, sofitel and metropolitan seems to be very good with prices in my budget (around 350€ per night), claridges seems to be a very luxury hotel but very pricey.
one disadvantadge for me at sofitel : french cuisine restaurant Laughing
situation is good?, we don't need rrs to move? RRS TDV8 HSE java black, privacy glass, bluetooth, clear side repetears.

Try the Landmark near Near Baker Street or if you like a very stylish hotel in Covent Garden - the St Martins Lane Hotel, Phillip Starks finest design....Met hotel not as good as cracked up to be...if you like the area, the Lanesborough is better...

I used to crash at the City Inn in Westminster just off Horseferry Road. Food and rooms are nice there and within budget.

I stayed at quite a few in my last job but can't remember the names of them. I did stay in the Millenium Gloucester once which was not too bad for the money. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

City inn isvery well located (free parking on the road overnight at weekends) and well priced.I would reccommend and I am in town 3 days a week.

yes, i have been twice in london before, but i was 12 years old the first time (for 2 days) with my father for a rugby match england/france (twickenham 1981 for those who want the result Whistle ), and the second time i was 14 years old for a linguistic travel with school, 15 days at a young english home before he came to my house.
today i'm 40 years old ! so it's very distant.
with regards to the hotel, landmark seems to be a good choice after visiting their website. RRS TDV8 HSE java black, privacy glass, bluetooth, clear side repetears.

Glad you chose Landmark Ultima, it's very discreetly classy, and a beautiful hotel, but above all, the service is amazing. Enjoy! Thumbs Up

free foods and drinks, excellent, but unfortunately i'm not rich and famous like certains on this forum ( who says SP? Whistle )
however that, with wife 1.0 we don't travel frequently and when we do, the choice is for 3 or 4 days only but in a very good hotel. RRS TDV8 HSE java black, privacy glass, bluetooth, clear side repetears.
