England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Need some advice please !

Hi well ive been to view a 2008 58 plate TDV6 S today and not sure if its a good price. They want £32.500 for it, It is java black with 11700 miles , it has alpaca leather interior ,sat nav, privacy glass. The thing is i really wanted a HSE but the dealer says this is the same spec would there really be no difference in spec? Got them 18" wheels on my pikey wagon so that is enough to put you off Rolling with laughter

Don't buy it, you will regret it and will miss all the HSE toys.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

S spec had cloth seats and no satnav so the seller added something to the base spec, but whatever it is still an S and they are looking for an SE price for it. An S will always be an S . Theres nought wrong with an S if you want an affordable later plate car - less toys to go wrong on it and you can always fit Stormers and 20" tyres yourself! The spec that it is at now is almost 2008 SE spec. The motor is the same TDv6 that the HSE had so the performance isn't any different. I think the only thing it doesn't have that is on the SE spec is the BiXenon headlights and the winter pack 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I have recently just purchased a 58 HSE and did look at an S which was a lot cheaper.

But there was always spec compromises, the obvious things which look like there missing from the car you have seen are:

Heated seats, heated screen, brembo brakes, front park assist, memory seats, inlays on door cards and console, larger diameter wheels

You do pay a lot more for the HSE so depends what you want, the main thing missing for me would be the heated seats as they have been a god send the last few weeks.
