2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

HDC Fault.

My motor has developed a nasty habit of throwing up this message when I turn the ignition on "HDC Fault, Special applications not available" now to coincide with this new "feature" it has run its battery flat for no apparent reason in the past 2 weeks. Anyone got any ideas ?

I thinks its gots sumfing to do with the handbrake!!!! It can't be that hard on diesel???

The HDC fault light is a sign of a failing battery! You need a need a new battery mate 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Second that. Had the same issue. New battery solved it. 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C)

Hi Aidan
If you have a tracker system fitted it may need a new battery. When the tracker battery gives up it starts draining the car batrtery - and it can drain quite quickly.

I have just recently started getting the HDC fault for a second after starting for the first time. However have had a new battery couple of months ago, so cant be that.......

DEALER TOLD ME ITS AN INDICATION THAT UPON STARTING THE BATTERY VOLTAGE IS SLIGHTLY LOW
