My new TDV6 3.0 HSE ordered back in July is shortly ready for pick-up. Some silly lad at Solihull has fitted the car with 19 inch wheels even though it should come standard with the 20 inch 15 spoke silver sparkle and the car has left the factory with the wrong wheels.

Obviously I complained and would you believe, with the support of my dealer I am now getting 5 spoke S/C diamond turned alloys as per my request, which will look stunning on my silver RRS, for just 200 Euros extra. Thank you very much LR

Now I have ordered my car with DR Dynamic Response, which is a rather expensive option, and I wonder how to be sure that my car has actually been fitted with DR. Does anybody what I have to look for, do DR equipped cars use different dampers or something? SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

Good news, but why are you having to pay extra for something you've presumably already paid for?

HSE over here come standard with 20" 15 spoke silver sparkle alloys. If you pay extra (Euro 450) you can get the same design in diamond turned finish.

Standard 5 spoke S/C wheels cannot be factory ordered for TDV6 or TDV8 HSEs here in Switzerland. They are exclusive for the Supercharged, but again are in silver sparkle as standard. Diamond turned finish is an extra and costs about Euro 600.

So for Euro 200 I am getting S/C wheels not normally available for non S/C cars and on top of that I'll get them in diamond turned finish, which I think looks stunning.

All cars with DR have a oil reservoir in the engine bay, which you should be able to spot

you talking Dynamic Response or Adaptive DYnamics? Dynamic Response is standard in UK on HSE. Is it an optional extra for the Euro Market?

Dynamic Response that is, and unfortunately it is an optional extra for the TDV6 over here. It only comes as standard for TDV8 and SC cars.

It (or at least something similar) has been reported by MY10 owners already.... not confirmed that it's the same thing I don't think
