2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Odd logic of elderly female American driver

My parents have a visitor from the USA staying with them. On arrival in the UK she collected a hire car - a Honda Civic with an auto box and drove to Yorkshire for a couple of days before coming to Scotland. The trip took longer than expected and when my mother asked if she had had a problem with the car the lady replied "It is only a four cylinder engine and no good for long distance drives!" It took her 2 days to drive from York to Stirling (300 or so miles) because of the inadequacy of the 4 cylinder Honda engine. She couldn't believe it when my father told her he can drive the same run in his 4 cylinder engined Honda Civic in 5 hours max! Turns out this lady is firmly of the opinion that more cylinders and engine cubics count if you are doing anything other than tottling round town! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
