Not 5* but still a very good 4* is Dunain Park Hotel just south of Inverness, Can reccomend it and the food http://www.dunainparkhotel.co.uk/index.html

You are very unlikely to find snow at Cameron House even in the depths of winter (unless we have a very snowy winter). I live about 10 miles from there and Alicatt lives even closer when he's in the UK.
