Hi Guys,

I am looking for a 5 star spa type hotel recommendation for somewhere in Scotland where there will be some snow around new years / week after Christmas.

any suggestions ?

very nice - but looking for something more modern

One of the Disco3 members runs a Spa i don't Know where's his located though but remmber looking at his website thinking 'nice'

Haven't been there, but looks good - and up where there's more likely to be snow too.

Not 5* but still a very good 4* is Dunain Park Hotel just south of Inverness, Can reccomend it and the food http://www.dunainparkhotel.co.uk/index.html

A bit further north is Ackergill Tower but it dosn't have a spa

It is just outside my home town of Wick. There is Gleneagles of course spent a week there a few years ago, very enjoyable and Tim from Scotland has a good contact there too. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

You are very unlikely to find snow at Cameron House even in the depths of winter (unless we have a very snowy winter). I live about 10 miles from there and Alicatt lives even closer when he's in the UK.

Columbirdge near Aviemore has all the resort hotels and is in the ski resort area of Scotland. Skibo Castle is supposed to be very nice and has it's own private LRE........................................ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
