Saw this Matt Black FFRR in Eastleigh, Hampshire today.

It had Overfinch painted where the Range Rover bonnet badge should be.

I've gotta say that it didn't look good. Knowing how majestic these magnificent beasts can look in normal metallic black .... I have to wonder why someone would do this.

Didn't look like a wrap to me - looked like actual paint.

The registration mark has been removed from the photos as much to save the owner from embarrassment as any security fear.

The pics were taken on my iPhone 3G and don't show the true horror of the thing close up.

Don't do this under any circumstances.

I suppose now there are so many white cars around folks have to do something a little odd to remain different. One advantage though - you won't see the swirl marks on it that you do see on a normal black painted car after it has had it's first wash! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've seen a couple of matt black RRSs now and it seems to suit them better than the FFRR...that doesn't look too good, I agree.
