I agree with Misery - Galway Green with Tan interior, but not the current shade of Tan, it's too orange, it needs to be more Saddle or lighter!
I like Bali Blue too........................ but white is still a great colour for RRS.
Nazi Bronze - not too sure about it....................... could end up being another Maya Gold

With my anorak on I see that the S/C in VA's photos doesn't appear to have adaptive cruise - there's no box in the front intake unless LR have managed to put it behind the grille or it has become an extra cost option. I like the clarity of the info screen even without zooming in in the photos it is easy to read the touch buttons on the new one. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

OK, no contest on the interior but I genuinely prefer the looks of the current model.

Me too, but the inside isn't that much different. And the front is worse. Most notable thing is the twin turbo 3.0 litre engine.

Not worth changing for. Save up for a LRX for the wife instead. I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

Not too sure about the grill. I would change that.
The 5 spoke alloys are pretty cool.
Definitely need mesh behind the big mouth.

How shocked would be you be if you had to deal with a UK LR dealer that would give you a nice little Honda Jizz for the day.

In these cash strapped times Angel was lucky to get a loaner of any sort, I read yesterday in Autocar that when their Renault Megane Estate started to self destruct they booked it in for warranty repairs that they were told would take 2 days. No mention was made about a loner so they assumed that they would be offered one by the Renault Dealership............................ no such luck, they were shown to the "new" on site car rental desk instead and offered a hire Renault at £30pd +fuel! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I was reading a few of the lesser marques were doing the same.

It's always cost dealers a lot to run a courtesy fleet - I don't believe I've ever had an LR loaner from a LR dealers that I've been to (actually maybe just once, from Harwoods in Basingstoke). BMW dealers always used to have a wide variety of cars to choose from, now it seems you get landed with a base spec 1 series Confused

Oh dear, what's happened Angel - has the DBS broken down again? Rolling with laughter
Never mind, you'll have a few days with a nice reliable DB9 now.
Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Can't you take a trip over the channel on the weekend to come to RAF Odiham in the loaner?

Ireland

I must say I’ve always been intrigued by the concept of loan cars from a dealer, as there pretty much never have been “Loaner” cars here. It’s not something that’s done.

If you drop your car into a dealer for service or repair, some might give you a spin home or back to the office. But you’re pretty much on your own in the majority of cases.

So usually you’ll always have a family member or colleague arranged to collect you & then drop you back to the dealer to collect the car.
