New here , small problem with my TDV8

Hi guys , very helpful site you have here!

I did do a good search before posting this but to no avail.

My tdv8's drivers seat moves every time you put the key in the ignition and everytime you take it out too , how do you disable this annoying feature?

Many thanks in advance!

Paul

Does the steering wheel move too, if so then there is a switch on the left side of the column (the one that you alter the wheel with), I seem to think it's a feature for fat blokes to get in and of the car with...lol

Failing that, with the car stationary go into the settings mode (pressing the left stalk button) there is a mode called 'lazy entry' make sure that is turned off.

I thought if lazy entry was turned on it makes the seat and wheel position alter depending on what set of keys were used.
Very handy if you and the wife both use the car, well providing you use different sets of keys!

Daz,you are absolutey right. That function is very handy when you are using two sets of keys.
But Pauld wanted disable the movement of seat and wheel whenever you turn the engine on/off.
Which needs to be done as you rightly explained in the first half of your post Thumbs Up
