car kit microphone placement

just had a parot kit installed but no one can hear me, sounds like i am in a tunnel etc.

anyone got some advice on where the microphone should go for best sound quality ?

Ive the same problem with the LR kit, i moved the mic to the top of the door post trim.
It does help a bit but i think a better quality mic is needed in my car.
