Have you tried burning off the brakes? If it's been stood for six months you could just have a bit of rust on you discs. The pads will touch if there is the tiniest amount of play in the bearing (and make a scraping noise). If the noise stops when braking then thats it. Thanks for the information and to be honest that's exactly what it sounds like but i just can't understand why it would only do it round the corners rather than the whole time but as you say if there's a little play in the bearings that could be my answer |

Excellent i'll have a look over there and see if i can see any other things to look out for!! Thankfully it isn't me that's bought one just thought i may be able to steer my old man in the right direction (ok so maybe it's too late for that |
