Okay, it feels slower.

But in opposite to the RRS which is a 4x4 and does not need to be fast, the SL wants to be a sporty car which needs to have at least 8 cylindres.  RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration

Inclined to agree McB however the SL is a 2 tonne GT/Roadster and as such isn't a 'Sports car'.
