"Reduce engine performance..message"

yesterday I set up cruise control to certain speed as usual..suddenlly a massage appearer in consult massage screen saying "Reduce the speed..engine programing..message" I count not read it completely because it's appeared only ones and the car start slowing down by it's self I tried to accelerate I can't I decided to pull out of the road..and drive to the nearest petrol station...the speed was constant about 80 km/hr..at the petrol station I stopped the engine completely and after few minutes restart it again..guess what every thing become normal..is that some mollification of the cruise control module or something else 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory converted to HST Silver

it seams that massage appears in hot climate countries Smile

it's OK now...I did not take it to dealer.. 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory converted to HST Silver

once agoain I got the message "Reduce engine performance"
at this time I could it read it..it's says desplay longer time..any idea what is going on or what i shall check? 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory converted to HST Silver

sportman - i have the same problem, although it hasnt happened in recent months when the weather is cooler ... its a real pain . im taking it in for a service (al tayer) soon and ill see what they have to say Confused 2006 RRS Supercharged

Problem fixed on mine, it was the supercharger coolant pump, apparently its a 'known' problem Mad .. and the dealer here has had quite a lot in to be replaced. Its covered under warrenty or about $550 to get changed.
