Kaine, what I mean mate is, how would you feel driving a DB9, when perhaps a new model could come out in a year or so maybe.......(probably wouldn't happen though) but it's a risk buying a 5-6 year old model.....in terms of it's lifespan....

I know what you mean about the small car though, it looks small....even in a light colour...

Wouldn't you prefer a V8 in something else though? Manual R8's touch 60K now, Maser GT £58K, new shape SL350 £57K - wouldn't go down the Jag route though.....just my opinion....

Angel I know you hate most german cars, but it's hard to deny that the RB does get very very good reviews........and is an incredible drive, even if it does have seats from a TT......

I know most people want an Aston, just on name alone, it's a very sexy quality product, but equally there are a number of people who also wouldn't want a AMV8 for the shared parts bin from Ford/Volvo etc....personally I think the R8 and Maser GT are better looking cars. But I agree, the SL 350 was a lame option...

Whether people like it or not, it's quite clear that the R8 is a great car.

As is the Maser and so too is the Benz SL350.

An English/Cypriot guy here has one and had a look at it at the weekend - very nice Thumbs Up

I don't see any point in snobbery or disliking a car because it's from a particular country.

I'd be more than happy with a 997, SL, R8 or M6 Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

to be honest I'm not interested in how 'quick' and 'agile' the car is - I am looking for that 'hidden factor' that the AM provides

Nick - the fact a new one is on the cards really doesn't bother me in case of an AM - the DB9 is a stunning looking motor in current form Thumbs Up

No denying it's beauty and it will go down as an all time great, without a doubt. Will the AM be your main car or will you still keep the V Dub? I'd me mindful of the colour combo's though....I have seen some awful green leather interiors, reds etc, and on some the ikea wood is just a bit too much. Black piano would be great on black, and the silver stitch on black leather looks good too. Tungsten and Black my preferred colours....

Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

All the listed cars are nice, but: SL 350??

This thing is slower than my RRS! Now, come on guys, you can not talk about Maseratis and R8s and then buy an SL 350 that's just an old man's car, sorry! If you go for the SL, take at least the SL500, it's hardly faster but at least a V8! And if you want a decent used SL, go for the SL55, you will get it for almost the same price as the 350 in Germany but what a difference.... Very Happy

I know I will regret this, but: How much would you have to pay to buy a decent used DB9 Softtop in Britain these days? RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink
