Any weight figures for the V6 diesel and the 5.0 Supercharged? 2006 Java Black S/C

A few kg more than the current models would be my guess - this isn't a new car after all, just a facelift.

Thanks. Besides all the new goodies and gizmos, I noticed there are a couple of potentially good looking new exterior colors. I think I like that Bali Blue in the car featured on the brochure, and Napa Bronze has potential as well! I'd love to see both in the flesh.

What's Anigre like (a wood veneer), does anyone know? Seems like they won't offer Zebrano anymore.

Uh oh, no more 18" wheels at all, even on base models? Is it because they won't fit the new brakes, including the non-Brembos? That would suck for the off-roaders... I notice that the original 19" style is now labeled "Off-Road" wheel. Is there a similar brochure for the new D4 that lists 18" as available wheels (fingers crossed that it does)? 

I was driving home on Sunday and spotted what I thought was a new model RRS parked up and turned around to have another look. Sure enough, it was a new 2010 supercharged model on an 09 plate so I had to stop...!

I parked up behind it (on Sheen Road in Richmond) on Sunday and got out to have a look....must have looked like a right car spotter (guilty as charged) peering in but these are my first impressions having now seen it in the flesh:

- The new style grill on the front makes the car look slightly neater, albeit less agressive at the front and I think it would v quickly grow on me. The exterior of the car, overall, looks fresher as a result if a little more 'urban/X5 style' if you know what I mean...?

- The alloys (those 5 spoke design) look far better and less bling/khan design in the flesh and I quite liked them.

- The interior (which was in a fairly garish orangey colour) looks significantly better than the existing one and certainly looks more luxurious IMO. I think that most current owners would agree on this.

I waited for a couple of minutes to see if the 'owner' came out to have a chat with him/her but unfortunately they didn't. Assuming that the supercharged badge was for real, I would have loved to have blagged a quick passenger ride if the owner had been obliging....as 500BHP must be quite interesting in a RRS!

I'm afraid I didn't even have my phone on me to take a couple of snaps as I had just nipped out to get some fuel. If I see it around again will definitely take some shots.

Overall, I think I drove off thinking that it did look a bit neater and fresher externally and certainly internally it looked a real step up in terms of materials used.

If they have managed to sort out all the bloody knocking noises/prematurely worn components then it looks like a great bit of kit!

I'm assuming that this must be a press car/demo car that someone is driving about in just now to generate interest?

I'm liking the Bali Blue too.... can't wait to see one in the flesh. Something tells me there'll be a lot of free half-day LRE attendances come the end of the year when I presume they'll start to get MY10 models.
