Over last few days it was snowing and raining and today the weather got better finally. So I decided to go off roading in mud and check the ability of the rrs in such conditions.

Once I got stuck (a bit of my fault as I stopped to check which way to go next), but it was lots of fun.
The car handles mud very well and I drove few roads that other cars could not.

At the beginning by mistake I put terrain response to snow and I noticed that later when I changed to mud the difference was really big.

it took me quite a bit of time to clean the car. Unfortunately I have a brake pad fault after this drive and the brakes a squeeking. When I opened the bonnet I noticed that the engine is also quite dirty. do you guys thing it is ok to wash it with the water jet or it may cause some problems to electics? My name: Patryk

Looks like fun - switching off DSC helps a lot, although the RRS is so heavy, sometimes it just sinks in.

I don't think it's a good idea to powerwash (a normal hose should be ok) the engine bay because of the transmission module behind the battery box that isn't 100% watertight. You should remove the compressor cover from under the car and clean out the mud from there though. Also wash the radiators etc.

The squeeky brakes could be mud in your EPB, searc the disco3 site for "how to clean and adjust epb".

This exactly happened to me. Got stuck in mud, wheel schratched, mud everywhere. It´s expensive fun...
When I got stuck, first tractor made nothing. No chance with old czech tractor Zetor. Then my uncle came with some giant Renault - thanks god for tractors
