Sat Nav Not working

hi guys

The GPS icon in the top left hand corner has a red line through it and the pointer on the map screen is not showing the right position on the map.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong

Regards

Chris

It's normal - will self fix in a while. Often effected by weather conditions etc. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Are you in a garage? Or are you surrounded by tall buildings? Or in a deep valley?

GPS needs to be able to see at least 4 satellites in different directions (clear visual line of sight that is - with no solid objects in between) to be able to provide 3D navigation (and remove the red line from the GPS logo). But as VA says, it should sort itself out once you get out into the open.

Thanks for all the replys.

Ive had this problem for about a week so suspect GPS aerial might be the problem.
