Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

Agree with you all. I read an article last weekend: There has not been a single of those shootings in school with illegal weapons, they have always been weapons of the parents who didn't store them as they should be stored! Evil or Very Mad

There are a lot of discussions going on in Germany now. One of the questions raised is would locking away the weapons help to avoid things like that? I think yes, but even if it would not it would at least make it any difficult.

Would other weapon laws help as our politicians are all saying?
Let's see: You have to keep your weapons
1. unloaded
2. in a special weapon's safe that nobody except you can open
3. in another storage than the bullets

The parents of this young guy (and all the other school-shooters) did not even do one of these three things, the gun was kept fully loaded and with more than 1,000 bullets (!!!) in the bedrom fully unlocked. Not even the own kid, every other kid of the neighbourhood could have stolen it and accidentally shoot anybody by playing with it! Evil or Very Mad

So, do we need other laws for weapon ownership? I don't think so, I think we just should control the existing laws a lot better, visit every weapon owner once a month to see where he has stored his weapons could perhaps help a little. And a 1,000 € fine for each weapon which is not stored the right way would surely help! Thumbs Up

The German schools by the way have an internal code when something like that happens, that's why a lot of teachers reacted perfectly and fast by closing the doors and keep their classes very silent, the second thing why there were not even a lot more victims was because "normal" policemen (not the special forces but just the four guys who normally arrest shoplifters or stop speeding motorists) were brave enough to enter the school while the guy was still shooting like a maniac, this was the reason he went away and let hundreds of bullets he had brought with him, unused in the school! I know 15 (or 16?) dead people are a lot but without the clever teachers and the brave policemen we would surely have a lot more dead people by now, so my respect to the both groups! Thumbs Up
The policemen in this state are the only ones in Germany who have to act like that. In fact in all the other states in Germany they are not allowed to react like that because they aren't trained to situations like that, they have to wait for the special forces (which can take 15-30 minutes, how many people can a maniac with a gun kill in that time?!? Shocked Confused ). After this event, the other states may change their mind...

Btw: There is a really frightening fact about this shooting: The young kid was shooting a lot better than all of the policemen! Shocked (He shot almost all of his victims into the head from a distance the policemen didn't hit him at all!)
So, please, German authorities, spend some money on shooting training for the policemen. Next time any stupid b Censored d does something like that they should be able to shoot good enough so he can not kill himself before being arrested. He should be caught alive and be arrested for the rest of his life with all the other inmates knowing who he is and what he did so that he has to take responsibility for what he did and can not just run away from it by killing himself. Exclamation
Instead of suicide life long jail with a lot of criminals hating you around you, that should prevent people who just want to die (and take some guys with them) from doing things like this! Exclamation RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink
