dont get an iphone if you want it for email, i had one and went back to blackberry after a few months, they are more of a toy than a functional data device! Current

Yeah the iPhone email might look better in html, but i prefer to receive my emails via push and preferably at the same time they are sent not 15-30 minutes later even with the 3g and so called 'fake' push i found the iPhone still lacked compared to the BB plus no ots sync of calnder or contacts, so no good for business use. Current

The push is the only thing the BB wins on but the fetch on my iphone is good - it doesn't take much effort to fetch. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I want email, but doesn't need to be anything great, mainly to keep in contact whilst i'm away & internet etc

the MAJOR problem with iPhones is email, basically they dont store them and everytime you reply and receive an email via the iPhone the WHOLE message gets re-downloaded, i learnt this to the tune of a £350 data bill whilst abroad. I have an ipod for music and a blackberry for emails, calls, data etc.

Like i said the iPhone is great for students and people who basically want the convenience of an iPod that can make calls but as for the daya side, syncing calender appointments and contacts FLAWLESSLY then the iPhone is no good.

Dont get me wrong i like the iphone but i am merely stating it is no good for business email or functions, get the iphone if you want the music element, saying that though i sync'd all my itunes to my BB anyway with no licence /data issues via BB media sync so again the BB probably wins over on that front again over apples silly licence laws  Current

iPhone? Don't waste your money. I have binned 2 as they don't work, the touch screen will fail, the software will lock-up constantly - and whilst I am on a rant, the ipod Touch is just as bad - I am on my third one of these with the same faults as the iphones. The reason I binned the iphones was Apple refused to replace them as they were bought in the USA.

Don't be fooled by the hype.

My iphone has push email from MSexchange. I went from BB curve to iphone and it is far better. I can actually read pdf images now. The iphone isn't perfect, but then what phone is. But I love my iphone.
- Killer functions for me are email and dual address books and calendars. So we have our personal and company calendars, same for contacts all pushed over the air. So so easy to use and the App store is great too.... 2022 P440e AB
