2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Endjin, exact same thing happened to my 80 year old mother, Napster (she had never heard of it) and a load of things she would never buy. Abbey picked it up straight away with the same result as you had from Lloyds. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom

The banks only have themselves to blame, pure and simple.

Apparently, we, the British, are subject to the inferior Chip and Pin option in this country, unlike our continental friends. Now thats not to say they do not suffer from fraud etc, as it is unlikely EVER to be wiped out, however, you get what you pay for, like all things in this great world.

If the banks had actually gone for the fully blown version of C&P, then we would not be suffering as we do now. If they had spent the money instead of being money grabbing B Censored s and lending to Tom, Dick and Harry in the good times, I think their exposure would be greatly reduced.

Seeing as we are unlikely to see an end to this fraudulent activity any time soon and as unpleasant as it is, they have only one person to blame and it is NOT the criminals. Simple. L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

WW, I think with the way the economy is going we will see more credit and debit card fraud rather than less unfortunately. My experience is that Australia and New Zealand have the most secure C&P cards, and the USA the least - friends of mine were still using their Co-op Bank Gold Amex card 2 years after it had expired in the States and nobody ever bothered to check the signature on the back (the strip had totally worn off so there was no strip left!) or the expiry date (they had no C&P cards either so the cards had to be manually processed). I took their new cards out to the States with me when I went sailing with them!
Royal Bank of Scotland used to issue Visa cards with your passport photo enbossed in them for a small charge, it was very successful and reduced fraud on that type of card to nil. They abandoned it because they couldn't get the other banks to join them, despite the success of the 5 year trial 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
