few small changes to my car

So, I also decided to make few small modifications to my car. sorry for poor quality pictures but I took them with a mobile phone.

I wonder why few people go for LR off road accessories, such as light guards or driving light kits. I think it really looks nice. So here are my modifications:

rear light guards

fog lights / driving lights kit

demon eyes rings. I was wondering whether to put audi style leds or these and decided to go for thedemon eyes as I always loved it in BMW. Apart from that, I noticed more and more often audi style leds installed in old golfs, opels, and fords.

sylvania dot-it led light with ir activation sensor - a great thing, as suggested here on the forum by someone few weeks ago, especially as the only boot light there is, is often not sufficient.

I have also replaced all (apart from glove compartment box light) internal light with led bulbs. My wife at first did not notice the differnce Smile but for me it looks more modern. also the position front bulbs were replaced and the rear light bulbs.

I was trying not to go too far with the modifications and I hope I succeded. The demon eyes do really look cool.
Thanks to ebay I could do all this much more cheaper than at LR and I could buy stuff even in the US - sylvania dot it with ir actication I could not find anywhere in Europe.

Having this, I now do not want to do any other modifications. I think it is enough. Maybe in some time, I will go for colour coded door handles.... My name: Patryk

Personally not a fan of the light guards but each to their own Thumbs Up

The driving lights look better colour coded IMHO but the interior LED's are a good idea as there is no light in the boot Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Where did you find the PIR activated interior LEDs, that's an even better idea than the Dot-it's from Osram which have to be manually switched on and off - the PIR would mean the light comes on when ever you open the boot/bonnet. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Pardon my ignorance but would they not be activated by something rolling around in the boot? Like a wifes body? (Not mine I hasten to add, just in case it was a car of choice for unsavoury types... Whistle ) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

this is the one. They don't sell outside of US so I found it on ebay. it activates when you swipe your hand or something within 10-15 cm max distance, so they do not activate when something is rolling in the boot, but also when you open the tail gate. It is just a bit easier that turning the switch. My name: Patryk
