| Tim in Scotland Member Since: 30 May 2005 Location: Driving along in my automobile Posts: 17476    | I think ST that you may find that like the 5.0Ltr N/A it will be available in several states of tune - possibly a weedy version with a single turbo and a higher performance with twin turbos. I think it was in last weeks autocar test of the XF-R that they stated that the twin turbo will be a sequential instalation like BMW's have - a small turbo for quick acceleration and then a bigger turbo cutting in higher up the rev band once it has wound up to speed 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

| Roland Member Since: 10 Jun 2005 Location: NB Posts: 469    | I was very tempted to replace my 3yo TDV6 with a 09MY TDV8 with the same colour and wheels combo like VA's car, but have decided to first wait and see what the 3.0L engine's performance/economy will be. If it's not much slower and with similar torque than a TDV8 (I doubt it) I will go the 6 cylinder route. If not it will definitely be a TDV8. SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD
