most Vivotek cameras are available in wired and wifi versions - the only issue with wifi is range - especially with cameras outdoors

thanks for the advice Thumbs Up . Im just having a look around at all the sites slowly (the cctv industry needs some better site designers, seriously). Might end up putting a custom kit together (ie buy a DVR from one place and cameras from sumwhere else ect...). Just trying to confirm how many cameras i need and what quality they need to be! WINNER - 2008 Best All New Photograph

been speaking to SCT today on the system they offered, seem knowledgeable in what they sell, spoke with Telford branch first, but still wasn't sure on the outcome of the conversation, between two DVR's

Accidentally phoned the London branch back and spoke to them to make things a little clearer (seem to be better at explaining things), now looking at the DVR761, as it has a better 'SATA' HD, VGA output and a USB flash drive socket, as well as a remote control

I was recommended a better camera for the front of the house, but that was a £150 luxury i can't afford right now, Just got to decide on the amount of camera (2 or 3) and get the pregnant Mrs NP to agree to it which will be a task Confused

What are the range limitations then Kaine ?? I am guessing it still relies on clear line of sight or suchlike ??

I am looking for a few cameras to cover the manor entrance and stable block, but as yet have only seen Swann cameras which have a naff range and quality. L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!
