Does anyone in RRS land actually still make anything ?

I am getting a bit concerned at how few people these days actually make anything. By make I mean either manufacture, mine or grow stuff - stuff that has a valuable use as something to eat (food), shelter in (houses) or keep you warm (fuel or clothing). Banking, accounting, legal, IT, retail, logistics, dentists, photographers, writers, politicians, policemen, retired folk, students etc - these people don't make anything. OK so they may assist others who make things, or help move made things around, but they still dont make things.

So my question is - how many people in RRS land still make things ? RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Long distance driver in international logistics here........................ there's still plenty of stuff made here as I carried 62000 tonnes of assorted "stuff" out of Southampton to SE ASia and China in December - that was 3 time more than we loaded out of the Euroland ports. That "stuff" included 600x40ft temperature controlled units of foodstuffs and delicate produce. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I made a Censored fuss at the LR dealer the other day! It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!
