I have only ever had one car crash, and it convinced me never to drive small cars again. I was hit head on by a X5 being driven the wrong way up a road by a drunk woman. Luckily the combined speed of impact was only about 40 and I was in a Merc e class. Anything smaller and I would have been toast ! I also learnt several things from that accident :

If its the other parties fault you can demand all sorts of things from their insurance company (including a hire car of the exact same specification as your car, delivered to your door)

If you are a woman driver you can run off from the scene of an accident and later claim you had a "panic atack" and get off scot free !

You'll never be comfortable driving your car again, even after it is "fixed"

Your back is never the same again .....
