Headlights - A couple of questions

1. Is there supposed to be a light on the dash to say the lights on on (not full beam, dipped & sides)?

2. I keep blowing the little running light bulbs in the headlights - probably changed 6 bulbs in 12 months. Is this normal? Also, should there be a warning light on dash to say bulb is blown? My poxy audi has one of them!!

Thanks

Mine has a little green light that looks like a pair of head lights to the bottom left of the LCD display panel in the middle of the clocks.

It should come on when you first turn the car ignition on, even if you have no lights on to show the warning light.

1. yes a green one.

2. not normal - never blown one in over 3 years. No on dash warning as far as I'm aware. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

- any idea what would be causing mine to blow so often?

Thanks!
