No they're Goodyear. The only downside with these tyres is the hugely increased road noise. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Thanks again VA

I am thinking of Ebaying a set complete with wheels and kill two birds with one stone. Though they would again be factory fit tyres, so conti's or Pirelli.

Cheapest way of getting new tyres is the ebay method. Good luck. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

LR customer service seem very good so far, took the car to the dealer (Barrets of Ashford) who feels the tracking is out, so has booked it in for laser tracking and also some wear to front bush.
I will update after.

Actually for my Hankook Ventus RH06, this site was way cheaper...

140 € per tyre on eBay VS 115 € on mytyres.co.uk. Wink

Placed the order on the 3rd of January, the 5th they were sent and received them the 8th...

But for £500 you get 4 tyres AND 4 wheels - beat that! Wink 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I have found Kwik Fit on line significantly cheaper recently - especially for Pirelli's. The on-line price is quite a bit lower than the price quoted in their physical outlets. But order and pay on-line then they deliver the tyres to your nearest (or specified) depot where they fit them and balance and dispose of your existing tyres at no additional charge. That further extends the benefit and cost savings of buying on ebay. So for example, a set of 4 Pirelli Scorpion 255/55/19's are less than £140 each fitted if bought on-line at kwik fit. The mytryres, and blackcircles prices were all closer to £200 and that wasn't fitted. Ebay can be cheaper if full sets are bought - but then you run out of room of sets of unused wheels ! RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

tyre wear

the original 20 inch continentals on my 2.7 HSE sport lasted 30,000miles, the Pirellis that I have on now have 25,000 miles and look lke they will last another 3 or 4k.

Im surprised with the 13,000 mile life others are having

I have just gone through 33,000 on the original tyres and I am still a good way from the wear bars in the tyres. I would suspect they will easily clear 40,000 miles. Not sure on the brand of tyres, Goodyear rings a bell.

Probably of more relevance is that it is a TDV6, I guess we are comparing TDV6, TDV8 and Supercharged which is probably not a fair comparison. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

dont think it matters which model it is, weights arent very different and all the cars are permanent 4 wheel drive, think its more to do with type of driving and way car is driven, most of my miles are on fairly straight dual carriageways with little city driving or slow speed manouevres

Hi All, just an update.
I spoke to LR customer service who I have to say were really brilliant with their response. At their request I took the car to a dealer and chose Barrets of Ashford (my supplier Stratstone Mayfair service centre had closed and my local dealer Guy Salmon gave me my deposit back on my original order so will not use them) they got their tyre expert to look at the vehicle and he said he thought the rear tyres were ok but the front had worn a little excessively and said he suspected the alignment was out and I should book it in for laser tracking which I did. I also reported the O/S/F antiroll bar chassis bush play as reported by my independant dealer who serviced it last week and a whinning that I experience at 2000rpm up hill. I got the car in for 8am on Monday and called the dealer at 4 pm to see how it was going. I was told they were having trouble finding the problem with the whinning at 2000 rpm and that they wanted to keep it another half day. No call Tuesday to advise it was ready so I tipped up at the desk at 5pm. It was ready but they hadnt done anything with it as they decided that the tyres were all ok and that it was typical for Continentals to appear worn on the outer edges with 6mm 8mm 6mm on all tyres no tracking was done. They decided the anti roll bar was ok and couldnt find the whinning so took a sample of the diff oil for test and logging.
Two days and not a thing done - I am not sure if I should be pleased or if I should feel the dealed has made some money out of LR but they have both pulled the wool over my eyes.

I need your expertise ?
