should have known these before i replaced the right mirror cover in standard plastic one for wife 1.0... |

Look just like the ones I bought from LR and I think they look good. Mine are Stornoway.

the LR are just covers ? not a new mirror housing ? |

Yes just covers. When I got them top half came prepainted in Stornoway and I got a local body shop to paint the separate bottom half. Stick them on with Evostik Wet Grab. TDV6 - gone
