Problem with Panasonic plasma tv

I'd be really grateful if anyone could give me some advice with a slight problem with my Panasonic plasma tv .
In low light, dark moody scenes I'm getting an annoying red glow just like map contour lines or isobars around mainly spherical objects like peoples faces as if it is picking up some sort of highlight.
In bright normal light conditions its fine and OK with DVD, only a problem on Sky signal.
I've tried swapping the scart leads and isolated everything(disconnected and unplugged) now apart from the Sky box in case it was mains interference.
Played with all types of colour settings in picture menu viewing mode without success.
Hope someone can help,it is driving me mad Question
Thanks,

Change the colour balance from Cool to either Normal or Warm and then reduce the colour control to get rid of the red glow

worth a try

Kaine
Its a TH-42PX600B.
I've set it to viewing mode:Normal,Colour balance: normal,Reduce colour down to about 30%,Colour management:Off and P-NR:Off
Seems better just waiting for a dark moody scene at the moment. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

I know,I know,RTFM,just dug the Instruction manual out and found the N button under a hidden flap on the remote which sets the colour settings back to factory settings.
I'll try again from scratch Whistle MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Kaine,
Appreciate you trying and sorry for wasting your time.
Just watching Michael Palin in Dubai and now its back to factory default colours are amazing.
Now I can see the what the problem was(hopefully),contrast is now at 100% whereas for some reason I had turned it down to about 30%.
Will be interesting to see what happens when I get a dark moody scene.
Thanks,

Doesn't the N button in Panasonics reset it to the previously stored "normal" settings, that might not necessarily be the factory defaults - either way if it's better than it was previously then job done I suppose Thumbs Up
