Can someone please advise what is the difference in TDV8 2008 / 2008.5 / 2009 models?

What months in the year do the new models come out?

EG. when does 2008.5 appear?

2008.5MY started production in Oct 07

I think the main difference between 2008MY and 2008.5MY is the electric stearing column

this may also be helpful when looking at cars - it helps you i.d. the model version 08MY or 09MY etc from the VIN number (you can't tell a 2008.5MY by the VIN number though)

be careful with these dates - some vehicles may just be dealer stock registered in that month but an older model

Amshe, As Kaine says, the MY change is usually around October time. Most new TDV8's will be 2009, however make sure that the order says 2009 as there are a few 2008.5my in the network.
