Colour coding

I have a great price for colour coding may car.
The guy at the bodyshop said it would be difficult to get the same finish on the plastics as the car due to the plastics being slightly textured??
Anyone had this done and not been happy??
Cheers. Blick with blick windows, big wheels, tow bar for nickin, side steps for the tart, DVD screens for on the go porn, 22" Stormers black and polished... as a matter of fact just about every box ticked.....if I`m going down I`m going down BIG time. Wink))

sounds like he's doing it on the cheap......mine matches perfectly due to being well primed.

He said he would remove the bumpers and trims to paint them and would rub them down.....maybe he was being over cautious just in case?? mine, is perfect, its hardwork as the bodyshop needs alot of work to be done to prep it, takes alot of time, adn thats why bodyshops would rather not do it than do it cheap!

id be extremly careful, as a friend of mine had his coded cheaply and all the paint peeled off like a wrapper off a candy bar! RR Sport supercharged 06

mine was fast, well priced and is a perfect match. They just have to use body filler to smooth over the textureand make it smooth, it probably takes no more than two hours to do that, then they get painted. Its very simple.

Just take it to someone who knows what they're doing, which should be most places.
