need some advice from angelxx

Hi Angel,

it's possibly not the right forum but i do not know where to contact you otherwise.

I'm considering buying an AM V8 roadster.
I know is not the best idea one might have during this troubled period but life is short and I am getting old Confused .

knowing that you have a 2008 roadster I will be grateful to have your expert advice on the following questions.

I can buy a pre owned (by the dealer himself) AMroadster for 95k€ with 5000km on the clock and have it right away or wait for the new 4.7 engine and have it in 5 months for 145 k€ (abt) what do you think, is the price difference and the waiting time worthwhile?

Considering that I am living most of the time in south of France I, indeed, believe that buying the roadster is a valid option but I am still spending 3/4 months a year in DK. have you got any trouble with the weather or the frost owning a roadster and living in Germany?

If I go for the pre owned,do you know about any specific points that have to be more carefully checked.

last but not least, one of my danish friend living here also, own a DB9 , BTW he was at the meet on the RING in Germany so you have possibly met him, he keeps telling me that the V8 is a much lesser ''machine'' that the DB9 what do you think...

Thanks a lot for your help,

SHUT UP ENGLÄNDERS Smile

back to you jmm honey Smile

its a very reliable car - i drive mine every day (winter and summer)
no problems and its my second one Smile
V8 Vantage = race car (i am not kidding)
DB9 = old people car (a GT)
The 4.3l is fun enough - no need for the 4.7l ( i had the choice for both new and took the 4.3l)
The Roadster is a classic so it doesn't matter - only if you want a Coupe get the 4.7l

And if you want a good address to buy one in Europe give me a pm.

PS: @ Jayman you is just jealous that Misery had a ride with me in my car and not you Cool Laughing

AND NONE BUYS A MERCEDES ! Cool

Thanks Angel.
Considering that I am buying this car to keep it for quiet long I think that it will be worth buying a new model since they have added quiet a few niceties.

I agree with you for the DB9, the only plus is that it got more room inside mainly for luggages but the price difference is outrageous.

I am in contact with AM in CANNES which is a subsidiary of AM MONACO but I am definitely interested to get some good contacts. I am not at all against buying the car in Germany. PM on the way.

by the way JF, only the brokers in the City are buying GT3 RS and since they are almost all broke I guess some good deals can be made Laughing Laughing but if the girl on the pic sent by JayMann is part of the global deal I might reconsider..... Whistle Whistle
