Jay, They work as expected, by just press a button on the handle they reload the roller with paint, due to this they speed the job up as i wasn't having to keep bending down, especially when doing the ceiling Smile

You'll still need to hand paint the edges, and have a small roller to get into the corners and behind radiators ect

I don't think its a total cleaning system (as advertised), as the roller does only come 50% clean and you need to spend 5 or 10 minutes at the sink to finish it off or you'll end up with slightly funny shades of colour on your next painting job with it.

If times knocking on for the job to be done, then i would say they are worth it Thumbs Up

Kaine, you can be so hurtful. Crying or Very sad

NP, Mrs TB told me about the Dulux PaintPod offer at B&Q so off we went to buy a bargain. The old Geezer doing the display put me off when he told me the price of the paint. £30 for 5 litres!! Shocked I asked if I could just fill the paint pod container with normal emulsion and he said normal emulsion is too thick and would only block up the roller.

So I'm sticking to normal emulsion and a roller gaffa taped to the end of a broom stick for the ceilings and high walls. It's never let me down before. Thumbs Up Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I wouldn't necessarily describe them as "gardening skills" Kaine. After all anyone can wield a garden spade and dig up a load of turf. Thumbs Up Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. the coloured paint is expensive at £30 a pot, white is cheaper at £20

But it gets even cheaper when you use a 10% discount card and the checkout lady thinks they are all white in trolly and scans the white one only and rings in 3 tubs of it and then gives the discount too Whistle

If your doing it the old fashioned way Laughing , see if you have a Johnston Trade Centre in the area, I used there Covaplus Vinyl Matt which Produces a wipeable finish like the dulux diamond stuff the last time i did it the old way, but the paint is thicker and you need less coats to give a decent finish

My painter at work, said the stuff B&Q sell is more watery than the trade stuff Confused

Hope it helps Laughing
